FAQ
Arrow Algo is a sophisticated algorithmic trading software designed to empower investors with the tools and technology needed to build, backtest and run automated strategies without needing to know how to write code. Arrow Algo is dedicated to making algorithmic trading simple and accessible, fostering a community where traders can thrive and compete with institutions on an even playing field.
Algorithmic trading, often referred to as 'algo trading' or automated trading, is a method of executing trading strategies using computer algorithms. These algorithms are programmed to analyse market data, identify trends, and execute trades automatically based on predefined criteria. With Arrow Algo, users build their own algorithms with the visual block builder — or start from a marketplace scenario shared by the community and adapt it. The platform allows for backtesting strategies using historical data, optimising performance, and sending trading signals to your exchange in real-time, all with the goal of achieving more efficient and disciplined trading.
No. You have complete control over the API settings in your exchange account. You will only enable the Arrow Algo software to send buy and sell signals based on the strategy you have set and it will have no ability to make transfers or withdrawals.
No. Arrow Algo is completely free to use. You can set up an account, build a strategy, backtest it as much as you want and run it in a limited capacity without paying a cent! With the free accounts, buy signals will be limited to $1,000 per order (no limit on sales) - to run strategies with larger order sizes, you can upgrade to the premium versions.
Arrow Algo is designed to cater to a wide range of users, including beginners in the world of algorithmic trading. Our platform offers an intuitive interface, educational resources, and community marketplace scenarios that allow users with varying levels of experience to get started. It is very important, however, to note that algorithmic trading carries a high level of risk, and investors can potentially lose all their invested capital. While we strive to make algorithmic trading accessible and provide tools to help users understand and mitigate these risks, it's crucial for beginners to approach trading with caution. We aim to empower users by helping them understand the inherent risks associated with algorithmic trading through educational materials and risk management features. Arrow Algo is a software platform, not a financial institution, and does not provide advice or recommendations on investments or trading strategies, nor does it deal, or arrange investments, as either principal or agent. The software is experimental and through the Core Terms and Conditions you agree to use at your own risk.

Artemis is Arrow Algo's AI strategy builder. Instead of assembling every block by hand, you can tell Artemis the market, asset, timeframe, and risk style you want to explore, and it turns your idea into a testable strategy you can backtest and refine. Free accounts include 10 chat credits to try it out; Basic and Premium plans include unlimited Artemis interactions.
Yes. Arrow Algo supports MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration, which lets you plug your own AI agents — such as Claude — into the platform to build, backtest and run your trading strategies from your own devices and terminals.
Yes, in two ways. Backtesting runs your strategy against real historical exchange data to show how it would have performed, and demo mode trading lets you run a strategy live without committing real capital. We recommend doing both before going live.
No. You can start from a marketplace scenario and adapt it to your own ideas, ask Artemis to build a starting point from a plain-English description, or build block-by-block yourself. Whichever way you start, you can backtest, optimize and refine before anything goes live.
Optimization automatically runs batches of backtests with different parameter values to help you find the most robust settings for your strategy. Free accounts can run up to 10 backtests per optimization run, Basic up to 30, and Premium up to 100.
